| The two main battles of the 1884 campaign were the Battles of El Teb on 29 Feb, & Tamaai on 13 March. The Naval brigades were drawn from ships in the Port of Saukin/Red Sea theatre at the time, these being: HMS Briton, Carysfort, Decoy, Dryad, Euryalus, Hecla, Humber, Ranger, Sphinx. |
