Queens South Africa Medal. Five Clasps: " Cape Colony", "Orange Free State", "Johannesburg",
"Belfast" and "South Africa 1901": 3593, Pte. R. Muir, Gordon Highrs.
The QSA clasp combination
is a little unusual in that for
some reason Private Muir did
not participate in the battles
of Paardeberg and
Driefontein and was instead,
awarded the Orange Free
State clasp.
Of the 61 men who received
a QSA with this clasp
combination, only Muir
received an IGS, thereby
making this a unique
combination.
